Itinerary
Day 1 Hohhot arrival
Hohhot is the regional capital of Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region. It is located in the center of Inner Mongolia, with its north being the Yinshan Mountains and Yellow River to its south.
Pickup service from the airport or station and then transfer to downtown.
Stay overnight at the Local 4 star hotel. free to explore the city.

Day 2 Hohhot (includes breakfast, lunch & dinner)
Hotel Breakfast then heading to Xilamuren Grassland
When arrived, the lcoals will be warmly welcomed to the grasslands by colorfully dressed Inner Mongolians in traditional costume and you'll have the opportunity to drink local wine and take pictures with them.
At lunch, you will get to taste local favorites such as mutton and other traditional Inner Mongolian cuisine.
After lunch you'll have the chance to enjoy Mongolian horse racing and wrestling performances (according to the weather condition, the Mongolian horse racing may be not secure to be performed.If it's not available,we will arrange sand skiing when you visit the desert.)
You'll visit the family of a local herdsman where you can try pure Mongolian milk, snacks and participate in a traditional Mongolian ancestor worship ceremony.
At dinner you will receive the highest welcome from the Mongolians: a ceremony where they will toast with each guest one by one according to their age, while singing traditional songs. A silver bowl and Hada (a white or blue silk scarf used as a greeting in Inner Mongolia) are used during the ceremony.
Stay overnight in a deluxe yurt. (By default, 2 people will share a room. For groups of odd numbers, 3 people will be required to pay the single supplement.)

Day 3 Hohhot
In the early morning we highly recommend catching the golden sun rise over the grasslands.
After breakfast， transfer to Erdos Resonant Sand Gorge （about 2 hrs ）

Similar to the famous Mingsha Hill in Dunhuang, Gansu Province and the 'Capitol of Sand', Shapotou in Zhongwei, Ningxia Province, here you can climb sand dunes, enjoy the peace and quiet or go for a wander in the desert on a camel (addtional fees may apply).

Day 4 Hohhot departure (includes breakfast)
After a hotel breakfast, your guide will drive you back to Hohhot.
On the way back to Hohhot you can admire the second longest river in China, the Yellow River and the 2,022 m (6,636 ft) long Yellow River Bridge. Then your guide will transfer you to the airport in time for your onward flight.
After lunch, you'll be transferred to the airport or station for departure.
