Itinerary
Day 1 Chengdu - Wolong Panda base - Mt. Siguniang
7:30 a.m. Chengdu/Dujiangyan hotel pickup and transfer to Wolong Panda Base (about 1.5 hours)
Visit Wolong Panda Base
Wolong National Nature Reserve
Established in 1963 and further expanded in 1975, covering an area of about 200,000 hectares in the Qionglai Mountains region, Wolong National Nature Reserve houses about 150 wild individuals of highly endangered giant pandas. The reserve is also a home to many other endangered species including: snow leopards, red pandas, golden monkeys, white-lipped deer and many precious plants. Before the devastating 2008 Wenchuan earthquake Wolong got up to 200,000 visitors every year.
Lunch at the mountain foot
In the afternoon, you will reach 4500m height on Balang Shan Pass.
On Balang Shan, you will have big chances to see wild life and magnificent view of series of snow peaks and "cloud sea".
After passing the Balangshan pass, you will reach the best view point of Siguniang Shan shortly. From the Maobiliang view point, you can get a whole picture of Siguniang Shan all four peaks.
You will be transferred to hotel in the afternoon in Siguniang（four sisters） town, have some rest in hotel and acclimate the high attitude here.
Dinner will be served at hotel restaurant (at your own expense)

Day 2 Siguniang Shan - back to Chengdu
Visit Shuangqiao valley or Changping valley today to get close look of all the snow peaks in this area. There will be beautiful forests and crystal clear rivers in both valley.
Mount Siguniang encompasses four peaks: Daguniang Feng (Big Peak or 1st peak), Erguniang Feng (2nd peak), Sangungiang Feng (3rd peak), and Yaomei Feng (4th peak). The highest peak is Yaomei Feng, it is also the second highest mountain in Sichuan Province. Mount Siguniang is famous for its beautiful scenery. The area is reputed to be the "Oriental Alps". Mount Siguniang National Park was identified as a UNESCO Heritage Site as part of Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuaries in 2006.
Changping valley is based on walking trails, you will need to walk around 5-10km in the valley in and out for most of the sightseeing spots. Visiting Changping valley is based on shuttle bus, you will not need walk too much at Changping valley.
After that drive about 3.5 hours back to Chengdu/dujiangyan hotel.
